A visit to Damanhur Italy
Last week I was away with a couple of friends for 5 days visiting a beautiful artistic place called Damanhur in Italy, well in reality I was only there for 3 days as two of the days were used travelling. This place has been called the 8th wonder of the world. A group of people who live in a society together here have built temples into a mountain by hand without the authorities knowing about it for years! More of the story HERE.
This is a link to the virtual tour of these temples - http://www.thetemples.org/tour/, it is well worth visiting this site as the tour is amazing!!! Click on the thumbnails at the bottom to see all the temples, don't forget to see the ceilings and floors. We were not allowed to photograph or film in the temples but I have taken these photo's of the area of Damanhur....
I loved visiting this place but living in a community like this does not appeal to me. The artwork they have produced together is fantastic and inspiring and I will never forget his wonderful trip. It took me 12 hours to get there from my home to the place we were staying, a car trip, aeroplane, a bus shuttle, two trains and a taxi . phew!!!

Fantastic!
